Join our client, a leading manufacturer, as an Electrician. This vital role involves working the night shift, Sunday night to Friday morning (10pm to 6am), offering a competitive pay range of $30 to $35 per hour.
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in 3-phase motors, AC/DC voltage, transformers, motors, starters, relays
- Ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs & HMIs; programming skills are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
- Respond to line calls, troubleshoot problems, and make timely repairs.
- Document actions taken and log downtime accurately in Fiix.
- Assist in coordinating scheduled downtime and planning maintenance activities.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for production and maintenance problems, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of programmable controllers, electrical power and control systems, and relevant equipment.
- Adhere to safety standards, emphasizing safe procedures and practices.
- Complete PMs accurately and in a timely manner, entering information into Fiix.
- Keep the maintenance shop and work area orderly.
- Interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend continuous improvement meetings and communicate effectively on related issues.
- Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition, emphasizing safety procedures to production technicians.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the plant.
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Foster positive relationships with floor operators through daily communication.
Must-Haves:
- Ability to work Sunday night through Thursday night, 8-hour shifts
- Experience in industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E and NEC Codes
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities
- Proficiency in using common manufacturing software
- Powered Industrial Equipment license and Electrical Safety Certification required
