We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the effective operation Packaging and filling line equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage hands-on daily activities of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Provide superior reports to the back office, documenting all maintenance activities and findings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute planned preventive major maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with agreed procedures, ensuring effective operation of equipment.
  • Provide production support post-maintenance to bring the line to pre-maintenance efficiencies or higher while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve both mechanical and automation malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems to ensure permanent resolution and/or escalate with proper problem description and documentation when the root cause is not identified.
  • Handle claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims per the claims process and through the quality department, including root cause analysis.
  • Install rebuilding kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into the production environment with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze, identify, and take action on system performance issues, implementing correct and approved operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Associates degree, preferably electrical or mechanical.
  • Experience: 4-8 years in technical/equipment/machinery experience in an equipment manufacturing service-based industry, involving all levels of complexity including troubleshooting on packaging and filling equipment.
  • Familiarity with carton packaging and filling machinery, including filling machines, sealing machines, carton forming machines, sterilization equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Ability to implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Strong technical documentation skills and safety awareness.
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Must be prepared to travel to customer sites
  • Clean drivers license
